Was glaubt ihr, was es gestern gab ...
I have intimated previously that BBC Scotland are now in the habit of telephoning the opposition manager post match. We must welcome this, as license fee paying Rangers supporters, we receive greater coverage of events unfolding at Ibrox. Further, why should supporters of the opposition be denied coverage also, just because that Saturday's fixture list pairs them with BBC Scotland's least favourite team.
Thus, since the end of November, we are the beneficiaries of post match interviews with Tommy Wright, Martin Canning, and Owen Coyle. The first two rightfully lionised their teams for deserved wins at Ibrox. Owen utilised the opportunity to complain about a non penalty than only he witnessed. Richard Gordon allowed him full vent. Then, Big Dick's Dandy Dons were battered again, and there was NO post match interview with Derek McInnes. A shame, I would have liked to hear Derek's take on his third consecutive failure this season.
However, today the first post match managerial interview on BBC Radio Scotland today(apart from the 12.30 kick-off) was Neil Lennon. A smug Richard allowed Neil to state today's Hibs victory was up there with ra Sellik's CL defeat of Barca in his managerial feats. Sure, it was a sniggerfest for Big Dick and he enjoyed it enormously. It's such a shame he could NOT bring Derek to the phone.
There you have it, at best BBC Scotland's post match managerial interviews are triumphalistic, and at least a grievance line. When it gets personally tough, Richard doesn't bother.

6 February 2018
A primary teacher charged with a string of sexual abuse offences against former pupils has made his first public court appearance.
Gerald King, 65, is accused of using lewd and libidinous practices towards six school children in Balornock, Glasgow.
The charges span from 1 August 1983 to 30 June 1989 and concern pupils at St Martha's Primary school.
The pensioner denies the charges, which relate to four boys and two girls.
Mr King, from Springburn, Glasgow, also faces a seventh charge of taking or making indecent images of children between January 1987 and December 1988.
Defence counsel Gavin Anderson entered pleas of not guilty to the charges on Mr King's behalf.
Sheriff Alan McKenzie set a further pre-trial hearing for next month and continued his bail.

Gerald King pleaded not guilty and was allowed to continue on bail ahead of a pre-trial hearing next month
A FORMER chairman of Celtic Boys Club has appeared in court charged with historic sex offences against school pupils during his stint as a primary teacher.
Gerald King, 65, has been accused of lewd and libidinous practices towards six students while he was teaching at St Martha’s Primary School in Balarnock.
He was suspended from his job following the revelations and he was warned to stay away from the school after his arrest on February 15 last year.
King appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court today to face charges spanning from August 1, 1983, to June 30, 1989, at the Glasgow school.
It’s claimed King, from Springburn, is also facing a seventh charge of taking or making indecent images of children between January 1987 and December 1988.
He pleaded not guilty and was allowed to continue on bail ahead of a pre-trial hearing next month.

Kleines Update zur Unparteilichkeit von BBC Scotland
BBC Pacific Quay CFC..... Rangers haters diary.
Joke Cartoon of Neil Lennon on hangman appears on Popular Rangers fan
site Follow Follow. BBC Report it as a “death threat” on Radio and on
the BBC Website. The hosts of Follow Follow (footymad) close down the
message board.
• Complete Ignorance of Pearson & Hartson “videogate” scandal.
• Tam Cowan & Stuart Cosgrove continually using the H Word to
describe the Rangers support, until it was officially declared sectarian
by NbM.
• Upon the signing of Kevin Thomson, the report of the signing on the
BBC Website carries a picture, which has been renamed by someone at the
BBC to include the word “C*nt”
• Richard Gordon, during his show covering the Transfer Window in 2005,
used a racist comment to describe former Rangers player Filip Sebo,
joking that he had been “sold to Edinburgh Zoo”
• Weathergirl Kirsty McCabe calls Ibrox “Castle Greyskull.”
• BBC Scotland ignore number of emails concerned at the lack of reporting of sectarian behaviour by the Celtic Support
• BBC Scotland schedule specific programme on BBC Radio Scotland about the Famine Song
• BBC Scotland Sportscene Programme’s ignorance of Rangers tributes to
Scottish Soldiers previous to Poppy Day, while ignoring Celtic
Supporters minutes applause, and walk out the following week.
• When leading on any “sectarianism” news item, using images of Rangers supporters.
• Photo of Nell McAndrew in Rangers kit entitled “HunC*nt1.”
• Spreading the Lie that Artur Boruc was cautioned for blessing himself, across the BBC Network
• Allowing Cardinal PAP to demonise the Protestant Community by claiming
there are those who go out to “Punch a Pape”, and put his own spin on
sectarian crime figures, which were wholly inaccurate
• Biased Commentary by David Begg commenting on “Derry’s Walls” being
sectarian, but no comment on songs from the Celtic Support.
• The disappointment in Kheredine Idessane’s voice when he announced that Rangers had been found ‘not guilty’ by UEFA.
• The victimisation of Alex Rae following his 50-50 tackle in a Rangers
European tie against CSKA Moscow, and submitting footage of the tackle
to UEFA.
• The failure to report on sectarianism within the Scottish Labour
Party, and various land deals involving 2014, and associates of the
Labour Party
• Use of the headline “Rangers in Union Flag row” regarding the Blue
Order organised flag display at Ibrox, with a one sided piece on it on
Reporting Scotland
• On the last news report before a cup final involving Rangers and
Motherwell, leading on a story about Celtic loan player Craig Bellamy
possibly staying at the club.
• Using James Grady to comment on an incident against himself by Lorenzo
Amuruso in a Scottish Cup Final with no right of reply for Amoruso.
• Roddy Forsyth stating to Gordon Brewer on Newsnight Scotland, that Hearts had a worse problem with sectarianism than Celtic.
• The Acceptance of Sanjeev Kholi as a football pundit, based upon his
only claim to fame in being a “football fan” was to accuse the Rangers
support of racism against Mark Walters, when Walters had faced the worst
display of Racism ever witnessed in Scottish Football by the Celtic
Support at Celtic Park.
• Sending 88 Staff from the BBC to Seville at licence payers expense, with only a handful present in Manchester.
• The despatch of a film crew to Benidorm to report on a Celtic Fans
convention that ended in fiasco – and reported it as a success. They
have never been present at any Rangers fan convention.
• BBC Scotland Commentary of Celtic in Seville from Rob McLean “only the
most blinkered Scots won’t be hoping for a Celtic victory”. This, in a
stadium littered with Irish Flags and no Saltires.
• Nov 2006 – Just prior to live coverage of an Old Firm game,
broadcasting a programme on BBC Radio Scotland about the football song
“You’ll Never Walk Alone”. The last 15 minutes was a tribute to how it
is sung at Celtic by two “Celtic fans”, who both happened to be BBC
Producers.
• Making the Producers of Blue Peter apologise for using the RHOU in a
piece, owing to complaints from a Strathclyde University lecturer who is
a member of “Friends of Ireland”
• Ignorance of Neil Lennon’s DOB rant at the Rangers support & Dugout
• The refusal to publish or broadcast any facts on the “bannergate”
scandal, where a convicted i*a terrorist painted a banner for the
“Jungle Bhoys” supporters group partly funded by Celtic Football Club.
• Following Rangers being the first club in Scotland to qualify for the
last 16 of the CL, the following morning’s Scottish BBC news neglected
to mention the result at all.
• BBC Reporting of Irish Government intervention from information provided by Phil McGillivan on “the famine song”
• Another misrepresentation was saying the "new" Rangers were "playing
their first match at Ibrox". The entry on the SFL website confirms that
Rangers are the same club.
• Claiming the murder of celtc supporter Reamonn Gormley was a sectarian
attack. Claiming the neds that were arrested at celtc's training ground
with weapons were committing a sectarian attack against Neil Lennon
(more scum supporters). Many claims we committed a criminal act with the
CBTs\second letters\whatever they're called this week - Daly, Douglas
Fraser's blog, usual suspects on RS.
• The constant use of Ibrox and the Rangers gates as a backdrop when sectarianism is discussed.
• The editing of Ally's press conference, last season, to make it look as if he disregarded sectarianism.
• Continually quoting from only one faith group when reporting on sectarianism and sectarian crime statistics.
• BBC Scotland not mentioning Celtic getting done by UEFA last year even
though the national news did, instead spoke about Pandas at Edinburgh
Zoo. Compare this to their reaction when we got done.
• Sometimes it's what isn’t said. Joe O;Rourke wasn’t mentioned. IRA
songs and singalong are never mentioned. That "bhoy" with the gun at
lennoxtown, Ross Hind - his favourite team was never mentioned. Rangers
tax "crimes" are big news, the tax crimes of celtic staff aren’t. It's
still playing out by the Mark Daly documentary looks to be a strategic
move in the chess game against Rangers.
• Mark Daly trying very hard to get Billy (Turncoat) Dodds to say he had
a double contract, even though he said he never ever had one.
Campaigning to get Naismith banned for elbowing another player, when
Hooper did the exact same thing the week before and they ignored it.
Accused Aluko of diving to get a penalty, again campaigning to get him
banned, even though it was proved there was contact. Several Rangers
players have had the same treatment from the BBC over the years.
• Making a point about the solitary arrest at Peterhead yet failing to
mention that Lothian and Borders police are "looking into" a police
officer who was on duty at the Edinburgh derby there and allegedly was
inciting the home fans. Now which story do you think is more newsworthy?
An apparent upholder of the law possibly inciting crowd trouble or a
single muppet making a stupid remark?
• BBC Scotland badgered UEFA to take action against Alex Rae after they
caught him kicking a CSKA Moscow player in the head. Fast forward a
couple of seasons and BBC Scotland cameras capture Lennon clearly
stamping on an Artmedia player's neck. There was no campaign for any
action to be taken.
• Donald Findlay getting pilloried for a song yet hartson and pearson up
on stage with full renditions of ira songs at a sellik republican night
out.
• Richard Gordon on Radio Scotland before an Aberdeen v Rangers game
said "when I was growing up, it was compulsory to hate Rangers in our
house".
• James Traynor commenting after the Osasuna away game, "Yes Richard we
all watched the live footage of the police hitting fans with batons, but
I say they deserved the battering they got".
• Failing to highlight a knife attack in the Tulloch stadium earlier In
the year when one rabid slashed another . Unheard of In my time watching
Scottish football.
• Also failing to highlight the stabbing in the pie stall queue a few
seasons back at Firhill the season PTFC were relegated. I recall the
news report that night gave it a brief mention as if nothing had
happened.
• The Hearts ballboy, who got a fractured skull when a scumbag threw a
coin at him. The media was all over the attack on poor wee neil the next
day, the Rhecord buried it on page 20-something. BBC never reported it.
• Always showing footage of Ibrox with weeds, decaying fence etc. in the
foreground, A little pathetic I know from them but they always show
footage of Ibrox in the most negative light they can. Cowan doing Huns
jokes. Cosgrove admitting he sung sectarian songs. Spence banging on a
table when a team scores against us.
As we can see from these old I records above, BBC Sotland is far from
Impartial when it comes to Rangers. It’s shocking that a public funded
body act in such a way but that's what you get when you employ bigots.

GOAL - Kilmarnock 1-0 St Johnstone (Boyd pen)
Kris Boyd smacks it confidently into the top-right corner for his 12th goal in his last 14 games, and 18th overall this season. He's now joint-leading scorer in the Scottish top flight, alongside Celtic's Scott Sinclair.

What the match reports said
------------------
First Chris McLaughlin of BBC Scotland
On a rare foray forward, McLean was caught late inside the box by Morelos and referee Steven McLean pointed to the spot instantly.
Rob MacLean's morning sports bulletin report for BBC Good Morning Scotland just said it was a penalty as well
Now the rest, who would seem to have been at a different match
The Scotsman
Morelos made what referee McLean considered a more telling touch in the other penalty area nine minutes later to concede the penalty which brought Aberdeen’s performance to life. It was certainly a highly debatable decision as the striker appeared to get a toe on the ball when challenging Kenny McLean as Rangers struggled to clear a corner. Once the protests of the visitors had subsided, McLean stepped up and confidently sent Jak Alnwick the wrong way from the spot.
----------------
Daily Record
McInnes’s side forced a couple of quick corners, the first came to nothing but the second was knocked short in to McLean and he ended up on the deck after going for the ball along with Morelos.
Ref Steven McLean pointed to the spot and while Gers were furious, namesake Kenny kept his head to fire the Dons in front.
-------------------
Sky Sports (very short report)
Kenny McLean - leaving for Norwich in the summer - converted a controversial early penalty (14) to set the hosts on course for a victory that would have secured European football for a fifth successive season, as well as ensuring they would finish above Rangers for the fourth time in a row.
-----------------
BT Sports
The Dons took the lead after 14 minutes – and they had referee Steven McLean to thank.
Alfredo Morelos clearly got a touch to the ball as he tried to nick in before McLean collected Ryan Christie’s low corner.
But the official got his decision all wrong as his namesake hit the deck, pointing to the spot without hesitation.
--------------
The Scottish Sun
The penalty he awarded the Dons after 14 minutes was hugely controversial.
When Alfredo Morelos and Kenny McLean – no relation – came together inside the box there was one big question the ref had to answer.
Who got to the ball first?
At first look it seemed that the Aberdeen midfielder had managed to nick a touch on it before being clattered a nano-second later by the Colombian.
Which in all fairness explained the official’s decision to point to the spot.
But the more closely TV replays were studied, the more questionable it got with Morelos every right to claim he was hard done by.
Alles anzeigenRangers abuse claim victim told to contact liquidators for compensation
By Mark Daly BBC Scotland Investigations Correspondent
A former youth footballer who says he was sexually abused by a Rangers coach has been told by the club he should pursue his complaint with liquidators.
The man claims he was abused within the Ibrox stadium by Gordon Neely who was head of youth development in the 1980s.
But the alleged victim has been told by lawyers for Rangers that the duty of care is not with the current owners.
They said that when the abuse took place Rangers were owned by a different company which was now in liquidation.
The man, who is in his 40s, was offered help in accessing counselling services, but no apology was made in correspondence from the club's lawyers.
Alleged abuser now dead
An email sent to the solicitors of David - not his real name - explained: "You will understand that there have been many changes affecting Rangers over the last several years.
"The company which owned Rangers Football Club.... which you refer to as owing duties of care to your client will have been the company then called The Rangers Football Club PLC and now called RFC 2012 Limited.
"That company is currently in liquidation but we do have the liquidators' contact details and can provide that information if it will assist."
Last year the BBC revealed a catalogue of alleged abuse by Neely at various clubs, but he died in 2014 before facing justice.
He was in youth development at Hibs in 1983 and then moved to a similar role at Rangers in 1986.
That is where he came into contact with 11-year-old David.
He spoke to the BBC about his boyhood dream of playing at Ibrox: "I came from a working class family to be invited in your full Rangers tracksuit and shown about the stadium, walking up the marble stair case. It was a huge, huge event for me and my family."
David trained at the club for three years, but he said his encounter with Neely in his youth would have a terrible and lasting impact on his life.
'My life basically fell apart'
He explained: "[An] injury I was carrying was having a detrimental effect on my game and I was basically summoned to Gordon Neely's room, within the confines of Ibrox.
"He asked me to lay up on top of like a blue medical table, sort of dark, dark blue and he started rubbing my thigh, even though my injury was my hamstring.
"That happened for a minute or two, discussing the in and outs of why I wasn't playing so well. He then asked me to stand up and bend over the medical table and take my shorts down."
David says he was then sexually assaulted by Neely.
He added: "I've racked my brain for years and years to think 'was this a normal thing to do?' Obviously I know now that it's not.
"My life basically fell apart that night. Everything changed, everything changed that night. The heart went out of me for playing football, academically I stopped doing so well at school."
Almost two years ago, David, who is a season ticket holder at Ibrox, spoke to a solicitor about the alleged abuse and was advised to make a claim against Rangers.
Rangers' lawyers said the club offered its "deepest concern", however, it made it clear that any compensation claim would be for the liquidators of the company which had previously owned the club.
David told the BBC: "My issue's always been that they may be a …different legal entity, but they're still the same club. And although they don't have the same maybe liability legally, certainly morally they're still the same club."
A statement from Rangers Football Club said they would "co-operate fully" with all those who had a "genuine interest" in seeking to protect children and "addressing the wrongs" of what had happened in the past.
'Cheap and nasty attacks'
It said that both the Scottish FA and Police Scotland had been informed of the matter.
The statement added: "It is vital matters are dealt with sensitively and with proper care and regard for those involved.
"We will not respond to questions that seek to turn allegations of desperate and deplorable conduct from three or more decades ago into cheap and nasty attacks on Rangers Football Club, and those of its employees who now have to attend to such difficult matters."
I'd like them [Rangers] to realise the impact that it's had and get an apology off them face-to-face. That's my real goal."
David, who says he was abused aged 11
Pat Mair from Scottish charity Talk Now which counsels victims of sexual abuse has worked with adults who suffered in childhood.
She said: "The survivors are looking for acknowledgment, they're looking for communication with the football clubs where they were abused.
"The abuse happened at Rangers Football Club but they are not taking any responsibility and it's as if they're not accountable for it."
David said he wanted "someone from Rangers" to contact him so he could tell them his story.
He went on: "And I'd like them to sit there and listen to me and realise the impact that it's had and get an apology off them face-to-face. That's my real goal."
Rangers bus driver guilty of causing fan's death
http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-44240490
So etwas nannte BBC Scotland unverantwortlich.
Alles anzeigenTrial hears of football ground links to child sex attacks
A man has gone on trial at the High Court in Glasgow charged with sexually assaulting six children between 1970 and 1990.
James Torbett, 71, known as Jim, denies all the charges against him.
The boys were aged between four and 14 years old at the time when the alleged abuse started.
Mr Torbett is accused of assaulting them at a number of locations - including Barrowfield Football Ground in the east end of Glasgow.
Prosecutors also list factory premises known as The Trophy Centre in the city's southside.
Offences are also alleged to have occurred at Mr Torbett's Glasgow home and dormitories in Belgium and France.
James Torbett denies all the charges against him. The trial is expected to last for up to ten days.
Alles anzeigen'Industrial-level tax avoidance:' BBC accused
Presenters want help paying tax bills after a years-long investigation.
By Simon RushtonMarch 4, 2018 10:45 GMT
The BBC has been accused of "industrial-level tax avoidance" by stars who are facing huge bills after a tax probe.
Freelance presenters set up personal service companies to get paid, which also meant the BBC did not have to pay National Insurance.
But the presenters say they only made the tax arrangement because the BBC wanted them to.
One presenter told The Sunday Telegraph: "If the BBC had held its hands up and said, 'We shouldn't have done this', people would have accepted it.
"But we have sat by for years watching the BBC say this is nothing to do with them, as if we all spontaneously and independently decided to set up personal service companies at the same time.
"We were never given the option of being staff. This was industrial-level tax avoidance by the BBC."
BBC presenters – some national names and others on local TV and radio - want the organisation to help pay the tax bills they are now facing.
In 2016, many of the freelancers were made permanent staff.
A BBC spokesman told the Telegraph: "The BBC has always engaged a large number of freelancers on a flexible basis, altering roles or hours at short notice. In almost all cases there has been little HMRC guidance to help clarify the tax status of such roles in the media industry.
"The use of personal service companies is legal, complies with tax legislation and should not result in any avoidance of the tax or NIC due to the Exchequer."
BBC presenter Christa Ackroyd last month lost her appeal against a £419,000 tax bill, even though the tribunal accepted the personal service company was the BBC's idea.
